1. You can't kill or punish somebody for something they are "going to do" 20 or 30 years in the future.

History is very delicate. Preventing things from happening as they are supposed to could result in even worse consequences for the future. For example, aborting Hitler or killing or imprisoning him as a child is not only wrong because at the time he did not harbor any hatred or commit any crimes, but it could also open Pandora's box to an even worse genocide than the one we got.
