These chicks love to fall back on that "it takes a village to raise a child" nonsense after they've fukked up their lives.

If it takes a village to raise a child, the village should also have a say in the type of decisions you make prior to bringing a child into the village. The village should have some say in your mating decisions. In a true village, do you think chicks are allowing deadbeat Danny Boy to skeet up in them raw without subsequently being shamed by the community?

A true village, a true community, uses shame a lot to regulate behavior of its members. Black women don't want that type of scrutiny. So, they should stop with the "it takes a village" shyt.

Can you imagine if a dirtbag, scummy nikka were to fall back on the "it takes a village to raise a child" shyt to justify him not taking care of the seeds he's created?

This is a saying that is overused in the Black community.

We need to stop using it. A true village wouldn't have 70% babies born out of wedlock. It would use social pressure to regulate behavior.

These birdbrain chicks want to lean on the community after they've fukked up their lives.

A true village would give a chick who was deliberately making dumb decisions the :camby:for jeopardizing the future of the community by introducing b*stard children among its ranks.

"It takes a village to raise a child" is a term that is in the realms of a shytty parent/parents who will blame rap, video games and movies for their child doing some fukked up thing

It takes a parent/parents to raise a child. The minute you assume anybody outside of your family owes you anything is the minute you've failed as a parent, then again that is a saying that applies for life itself.

But alas, I am posting in a mamba special, Chapter 100 of the undeveloped minds chronicles :wow:

well, Mamba is right.

He is wrong only if you could care less about black people.

Some mothers and father aren't able to take care of kids or simply don't know how...

when your son grows up he may be an engineering student in college but still followed around the store because some ignorant lil nikka may have just robbed that same store a week prior.

We can say all day.... "I only have to take care of me and mines..."

But #1 individualism is something we adopted from Europeans... They had it before contact with africans.... didn't have it for a while, then got it back , colonized the world and made everyone accept those ideas.

#2 We can't progress like that.

Whats wrong with the it takes a village statement? A good community is good for any kid for obvious reasons

People want to avoid scrutiny in general but I'm sure they'd rather be with community than without

Because generally people who say this are shyt parents who think its the communities responsibility to raise their own child

You guys have a different idea of the phrase than I do.

It's not about looking for a handout.

It's about if you see a kid doing wrong anyone should be able to scold them or threaten to tell their mama. But nowadays, people are afraid to because some people will get mad at you for touching or discipling their child.

I've posted videos of kids running around stores and Chuck E Cheese terrorizing customers and patrons or making a scene.

2.) we need a community of common values and traditions that tie us together, so that kids will not receive mixed or the wrong message. It will also help with Mentorship and Apprenticeships

One thing that I like about church is that everyone had shared values and we had Men's retreats and Women's retreats where we taught the children and adults how to become responsible adults.

We had a network of communication and advice and if someone needed something we found someone within the church who could provide.

I'd like to see that close of a network within the community.

The problem is that the tradition has become everyone looks out for self and their is no respect for others, especially our elders.

I think there's a disconnect with what's ideal, and what's real. We should shame those that make shytty life decisions, but meanwhile you have 2 1/2 generations of misguided b*stard children.

Where applicable people should step in rather than say, that's not my problem. If we don't, the government and subsequently private industry is more than happy to step in.

Only thing I keep hearing from y'all everyday is more problems, no solutions. One big ass Game of Blames as to why our kids lack the nurturing they need to give them a great foundation on which they can build. You motherfukkers will damn near create power point presentations as to who which sex should be blamed with what, but quickly throw that logic in the bushes when you're copulating[unprotected] with partners you clearly have no long term interest in. Choose better partners.

Not even saying accidents don't happen, but not using contraceptives isn't an accident. It's a choice. Especially if you know that outside of sex, anything permanent with this person is a no no. Address that first, then we'll have less headaches about the nurturing of our kids.

You do realize this phrase has nothing to do with single mothers or absentee fathers right?

He'd cite The Bell Curve and Mein Kampf as sources on the subject of black single moms if he had to justify why he isn't getting laid.
