I said it right when it happened. It could have been Sheamus no problem. He has the credibility. He has the size. He is willing to take punishment as well as dish it out.. he's still over with a lot of the crowd and he wouldn't look like a chump standing eye to eye with the beast incarnate. They could have easily set up Sheamus as the next challenger.

I hate the way Sheamus' character has developed over the last couple years but from an in-ring standpoint it was a no-brainer.

So... does that answer the question?

Sheamus vs Brock would be bowling shoe ugly in the good kind of way. Those two would beat the living hell of out each other and have fun doing it. I'd check for that

It has to be either Rusuv or Bray. Maybe Bo getting a shot by running his mouth and Bo gets on HHH nerves so he books him against Brock where he gets his jaw broken when BRock shoots on him .

I like the sound of that. I'd love to see Bo's reaction to HHH telling him he's got a title shot. Bo's like "Really?, Thanks Hunter you won't regret this. What title? The IC title? The US Title? or maybe me and The Miz for the Tag Titles?"

The guy who just beat the streak and dismantled and utterly and easily destroyed the top guy of the company for the last decade cant be fighting no sheamus or mark henry or no reigns

Case in point it either has to be Cena or another major legend like a Rock or Stone cold...anything other than that doesnt make sense

I think they're doing the right thing...have him whip Cena's ass again. Everyone seems to enjoy Cena losing. So Cena loses again...but not a squash...and Cena has a little more heart and visciousness this time.
Battleground...same outcome...but this time its a No DQ match and Cena gets the upper hand...maybe he introduces a strategy where he's hittin and running...stickin and moving...grabbing kendo sticks or chairs and it brings out the beast in Cena. But Heyman gets involved and Brock catches him with an f5....then another...then another... and then he beats him.
By then even I would probably want to see Cena win. Which brings us to HIAC...where Cena cant hit and run...plus Heymans stuck in the cage where Cena can get revenge for costing him the last match. Its billed as Cena's last chance. Cena gets beat within an inch of his life but beats Lesnar in typical Cena fashion...then Rollins comes in and cashes in.
Next week on Raw...Heyman demands his client gets another championship shot...but HHH, because Rollins is in the Authority, says the rematch clause is out of the window because Rollins vs Brock was never the match...Brock goes on a rampage and destroys wrestlers at random for weeks until Trips caves in and gives him a title shot at Survivor Series where Brock wins it back.
You get the point...after that theres a few guys you can go with...Orton...maybe you turn him face. Batista...never was supposed to turn heel in the first place. Reigns if he's still over. Maybe you throw in Taker as a swerve...or Daniel Bryan. Shaemus and Cesaro don't belong in a fued or match with Cena as nobody would believe they were going to win...and I dont think many people want them to win...honestly thats just obvious filler.
