I don't mind the Cena rematch mainly because I'm curious to see what they're thinking going forward which is a nice position to be in for once with his character.

I know he just lost to Bray but. .. If he hadn't come and gone so many times Jericho since he's leaving soon would be an expendable big name scalp to keep Brock busy while Cena "rested up and saves Jericho from a post match attack". Fans care about Chris still and him losing in devastating fashion wouldn't hurt his legacy/ standing in any way. A simple Heyman and Brock laughing at him and referring to him as a has been in the midst of a midlife crisis on the highlight reel (I like Jericho and don't think this but it could easily be a talking point) would give Jericho reason to pick a fight and Brock being Brock would have no problem in wanting to beat up "a has been having a mid life crisis"

I was thinking Jericho or even RVD given his history with Heyman. Both names carry weight and both won't be harmed by losing to Brock.

I feel they need a top face that has to job that has had little to no interaction with Brock... so Sheamus. Just have him Brogue kick Brock and have Brock act all staggered and dazed so the idea is if Sheamus can hit it in the match he has a chance.

Storyline is Sheamus wants the World title. That's it.
I agree with Sheamus also but for a slightly different reason. Assuming Bryan is the plan to take it from him at WM31, having Brock run through "brute fighters" might be a good way to set it up. Cena tries to go head on blow-for-blow, loses. Same with Sheamus, and similar foes going forward. That way you can build the psychology leading into WM with a smaller guy like Bryan standing a chance because he will go the route of using speed to maneuver around him and working/breaking down a particular body part of Brock. Again, this is all moot if Roman is the plan, but if it is Bryan just have Brock run through the bigger guys until then.

either Orton or Sheamus. and I'm not a Sheamus fan, but have him play up the "love to fight" aspect. Have him be serious. He could have a good physical match with Lesnar(like he has with Barrett). I don't want Mark taking anymore Ls at the hands of Lesnar

Sept vs Sheamus
Oct vs Orton
Nov vs :childplease: Lesnar ain't working 4 PPVs in a row
Dec vs Orton, Sheamus, and Rusev in a four corners match
Royal Rumble vs Ceasro
Feb - off again
Wrestlemania vs Cena or Reigns

For right now Cena v Brock makes sense. No one else is ready and after Cena was squashed making anyone else look better than the golden boy isn't gonna happen. Brock will most likely be holding onto the gold until WM but until then you can expect alot of matches against Cena, maybe Batista when he comes back

It'd give a sense of logic to their previous encounters and make more sense of his recent face turn and with Show as his tag partner. Henry coming back to avenge Brock taking out Show a few months back and trying to get his own revenge, thus giving us a match we've never seen before but ultimately a squash that could lead to a Big Show match next month which would be another squash, but it'd make Lesnar look even stronger by smashing the 2 biggest guys on the roster and him taking out all the top guys.

I'd like it to be constant squash matches until WM so maybe IC Champ Ziggler can get a match in there too, since he loses constantly and it never seems to hurt his overness. He could bump like crazy, make Lesnar look great and give a level of credibility to the IC title as it'd be the IC Champ vs. the World Champ.

It has to be either Rusuv or Bray. Maybe Bo getting a shot by running his mouth and Bo gets on HHH nerves so he books him against Brock where he gets his jaw broken when BRock shoots on him .

I said it right when it happened. It could have been Sheamus no problem. He has the credibility. He has the size. He is willing to take punishment as well as dish it out.. he's still over with a lot of the crowd and he wouldn't look like a chump standing eye to eye with the beast incarnate. They could have easily set up Sheamus as the next challenger.

I hate the way Sheamus' character has developed over the last couple years but from an in-ring standpoint it was a no-brainer.

So... does that answer the question?

They should have been building up more people for Lesnar to face before he came back.

Obviously Cena makes sense NOW but they have guys on the roster who should have been getting built up instead of getting start/stop(red light, GREEN LIGHT!) pushes.

Sheamus would've been a good choice. He's big enough and hard hitting enough that he can be realistically seen as a threat to Lesnar.

Tbh, I've always thought Brock & Sheamus could have a great, brawling style match.

I'd like to see Orton turn face and go against Lesnar.
Not a fan of Sheamus but he'd be a great choice, too.

I like that and I agree.
Would be a great way to add significant credence to the IC strap.
Would be great for some of the mid-card/IC guys to get in the ring more with the top dogs.
Wouldn't mind them going over every blue moon either so long as it made sense.

Like other dudes are saying Cena makes sense if they are going to tell a story. If they are gonna act like nothing happened than it's bullshyt:comeon:

They need to start building up contenders though, whether it's having a long tournament or putting a ranking system into effect to get some buzz around the new contenders.
