Spin: "Life" (Martin & Eddie) Aged Incredibly Well

Classic and one of my favorite movies. I always felt like black people could only get a movie with our real struggles made if it was labeled a comedy and even tho it was hilarious it showed some real shyt all the way.

I kind of cried the first time watching it. Funny and sad movie at the same time.

Movie is classic.
Claud and Ray were relatable af. Just so natural as characters.
Felt a lot of what they were going through.
Some of the best funny moments in film.
You'd laugh through it all but the racism they were going through was serious. Epitome of black folks in America, we able to laugh while still going through all the bullshyt they throw at us.

I wonder how much they adlibbed some of those classic scenes.

Love this movie and will watch it every time i see it on. That scene when they are going to bed at that white man's house they were serving for always has me screaming

That montage with Wyclef singing in the background and all the other characters dying is sad af

yea, that's lightweight why i think it aged well, shyt was way heavier than it appears on the surface. they got locked up in the 30's and didn't escape until the 90's, the world completely changed by the time they got to experience it again

The scene where Martin gets to be a driver for a bit and realizes how old he's gotten is

I haven’t watched it in like 15 years but I remember feeling defeated after watching it. it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Movie doesn’t get its credit. A very high quality film that gives you damn near every emotion.

It’s just a well rounded movie. The first half is like a comedy then the second half gets dark but it ends off funny. It was a lot of talented people in that movie. If I was an actor on that movie I wouldn’t be able to make it through one line acting with Bernie mac

Aside from that, one of my fav movies for sure. I could watch the shyt all day. Prolly gonna queue it up now too.
