Donell Jones gotta be 1 of the biggest disappointments because Where I Wannabe showed sooooooo much potential for more. I mean, the album is a classic but it just seem like bruh should've been a big star in the game.

Co-sign 1 trillion percent breh. Where I Wanna Be is literally the LAST great album of the 90s and a damn good way to kick off a career. No reason why he couldn't have had a little run. Even tho Kellz was killings the game there was enough room for others to eat at the time and Donell Jones shoulda been right up there

he got hooked on that shyt :wow:
Even as a youngin I knew he had that coked-up/crackhead look....had a cousin named Willie James who had the whole Alexander O'Neal steeze in the mid 80s and was cracked the fukk out so Alexander O'Neal is kinda like the dictionary definition of a crackhead to me

Exactly, I say this every time I listen to Where I Wanna Be. That album was a stroke (pause) of brilliance. There definitely was some room for him to sit at the table and eat back then. He should've been 1 of the biggest singers around. Bruh can write too, he was writing his own shyt!

I agree with it being the last great album of the 90's. I STILL keep that album in rotation :mjcry:
