I ain't much for the head of the household label.. Once we marry whatever we make together is our money[herein lies the issue of getting married to someone way outside of your tax bracket].
But.. what ever I had before we met is, and will remain mine and/or my kids'. Whatever we build going forward she's entitled to half, and I say half under the assumption that she put in half the work.
Work or not, you get half of whatever made while married. You keep what you came in with. That's why I think your first couple years of marriage you should focus on tripling your networth. That way If shyt goes awry you're leaving with more money than you came in with.

honestly parents shouldn't have a closet full of Jordans and their child walking around with holes in their clothes etc...
