What did I say that wasn't true?

Memphis wasn't a late bloomer team that went on a late tear and ended up probably the 3rd best team in the west at the end of the season? They didn't take OKC to 7 games?

They didn't bench their starters and admittedly drop the last 2 games to play the Spurs?

Ginobili didn't have a broken arm?

Timmy didn't have injuries to both knees?

:rudy:
Spurs benched their players too
Manu's injury wasnt a factor

:what: Spurs benched their players for rest. The Grizz benched their players and purposely lost the last two games to fall into the 8th spot to play the Spurs. Lionel Hollins basically admitted it.

:heh:@a broken arm not being a factor.

His broken arm held him back?

The leading scorer and main focus of the team in Rudy Gay was injured. Remember Z-Bo and Tony Allen was considered cancers in the NBA before this series. Darrell Arthur was playing injured. The Grizzlies had to basically throw together a team after the All-Star break. The Spurs was pick to make it out the West, even with the Spurs so called injuries. Everybody had the Spurs winning that series.

I'm no doctor, but my amateur assessment would be that yes, a broken humerus probably impedes one's ability to play basketball games.

:beli:
so you admit he was having a bad game even though he was leading in scoring

edit: and/or 2nd leading scorer

You didn't dispute anything I said in that post. Ginobili missed game 1 btw... which they lost on a buzzer beater.

 Tony Parker was so fukking :trash: that series. George Hill was getting crunch time PT while Parker was riding the bench in late game situations that whole series. And Shane Battier was a big part too.

I don't even know what you're trying to say, but I know Ginobili played 5 games in that series with a broken arm in a full cast and was holding it limp at his side whenever he wasn't using it. And he missed the first game...a game the Grizz won on a last second Shane Battier 3.

I don't know what the point of this thread is honestly. The Grizz did their thing and won. Give em props.

Parker was shut down and Shane had that lucky winning shot

Manu had one as well.

Yeah Conley D'ed him up. Must've been humbling because he elevated his game to elite level next season.

It's a spin from a comment made in the Grizzlies vs Clippers thread.

I changed the title to spin.

:ld:

How is a team this talented getting crushed by a team of no shooters? :mindblown: The fukking Spurs are going to be in the finals this year :snoop:
:snoop:

:usure:
Grizz took care of the Spurs in the playoffs before without Rudy Gay I believe
:jawalrus:
Wasn't either Parker or Manu injured that series? Not an equal comparison
