Kevin Owens = Heavy D - the big guy who can move :stylin:

Samoa Joe = in a cruel twist of irony - Fat Joe :heh: - both came up around a lot of legends and have a few classics under their belts.

Shinsuke Nakamura = Future. Not always entirely clear what either of them are saying, but the industry has to :salute:their swag, regardless.
Broken Matt Hardy - Kool Keith c. Dr. Octagon.:leon: They both came in the game as part of a team and had classics. Then reinvented themselves with crazy new personas.

Drake = John Cena

Kanye = CM Punk

Will Smith = The Rock :troll:

The rest are hard to find equivalents of unless ww're only comparing gimmicks with album eras.

Triple H= Jay-Z, both while talented utilized politics in staying relevant and ahead of the game. Buried and re-wrote history to make it look like they were a bigger deal then they actually were. (Triple H was never the main, The Rock and Stone Cold were) (Jay-Z was never the man, Nas, DMX, Em, and 50 Cent were).

Suge Knight=Eric Bischoff.

Both knew where the talent was and raided the competition. Suge with Dre, The D.O.C., Michelle from Ruthless; Bischoff with Hogan, Savage, The Outsiders, etc from the WWF. Signed GOAT's in the dark point in their lives/careers; Suge with 2Pac while he was in jail, Bischoff with Bret Hart when he was being eased out in favor of HBK, Austin, and attitude era.

Both signed a bunch of talent that they never had intention of using. Both had talented rosters but instead of utilizing them they kept relying on old stars. Suge had Jewell and Danny Boy for R&B, Crooked I and Eastwood for rap. Instead of releasing their albums he kept on releasing old 2Pac records. Bischoff had Benoit, Guerrero, and Jericho. Instead of elevating them he kept relying on Hogan, Flair, Piper, etc.

Both were arrogant and thought they were untouchable. Suge changed the name of Death Row Records to the Untouchable Death Row Records. Getting in fights while on probation, having his goons assault people. Bischoff thinking the win streak would last forever and didn't prepare for life after the nWo angle ran it's course.

When both lost power and tried to come back with old ideas that failed to bring in new fans and alienated old fans.

Both ultimately caused the demise of their own companies.

Vince McMahon=Puffy

Vince changed wrestling from a territory run industry to a mainstream "sport." Puffy helped rap from street based to shiny suits and helped it go more mainstream.

Hated by a lot of people but still respected.

Always puts themselves in the spotlight at the expense of their talent.

Has a lot of dirt on them that will probably never be resolved. Vince with Snuka. Puffy with the 94 and 96 Pac shootings as well as Biggies murder in 1997.

Both were nearly convicted and almost spent time in prison but beat the cases and went on to have even greater success.
