I liked "Da Game is to be sold, not to be told," but I understand the criticism. If you weren't a nolimit fan, you aren't gonna like the album. Since it was more of a southern album & I live in the south, most people liked it. I saw negative reviews online & understood it because it was more of a nolimit album then a Snoop album. Nolimit got a lot of hate on the internet back then.

The album also came out pretty fast after he signed with nolimit if I remember correctly. I guess it was to capitalize on the hype.

Props to Master P for giving him more creative control on his last 2 nolimit albums. "Nolimit top dogg" was my shyt. It was just smooth.

Last meal was aight imo. Kokane was all over that album & he does nothing for me.

The first Eastsidaz album will always be my favorite Snoop related project

TBH I loved Kokane on Tha Last Meal. Made me wanna know more about him. I copped his 1st album but it was trash.

Also agree with you on Tha Eastsidaz. That album banged like a mutha. Great music.

Da Game Is To be Sold Not to be Told was fukking TRASH............I loved No Limit but that was a bad album to me.....

but I loved No Limit Top Dogg and the Last Meal. I feel like NL Top Dogg was the perfect balance of where Snoop needed to be at.

I thought Da Game is to be Sold was solid but I understand people who think it was trash. It was his weakest album for a long time but now I don't think it is any more. He's released worse since then, which isn't a good thing

Da Game To Be Sold, Not To Be Told was okay but liked some of few tracks on it. Snoop Dogg seems to have more fun on No Limit than Death Row.

I remember the movie :russ: then the video had me :whoo: where you can see t*ts, etc.

I love The Last Meal just :wow:

Dude, I can't believe you're hating on Kokane. He was dope to me, I just like him the way he's signing, kinda like "Next Nate Dogg" westcoast but different styles.

"We stay on point like Stacey Adams"

I wish my Ice Cube would spit his verse on that song cause I know he would have went in but instead of we got his chours :to: but still that song is still dope.

How am I "hating" on Kokane? I'm not putting the man down, he's just not my cup of tea.

I'm very familiar with Kokane. It's kind of an insult to the man to call him "the next nate dogg" when he was an active artist before Nate Dogg & was on Ruthless.

Kokane was basically like the co star on the last meal. If your not a Kokane fan, there's a good chance your not gonna like that album.

I personally prefer Butch Cassidy. I thought Butch had more chemistry with Snoop & he played a big role in the Eastsidaz first album. I liked when he worked with Latoiya Williams as well.

when snoop went to no limit i was pretty disappointed. i never really gave Da Game... a real chance but i always hate that album because it reminds me of snoop being the final piece of the death row puzzle leaving the label.

Top Dogg tho :blessed: :ohhh: i was over the death row thing but still didn't think snoop would put out anything worthwhile again, but top dogg proved me wrong.

and then The Last Meal :banderas:
