Spin: the next gen consoles need a true survival horror game

Enough of the action oriented RE style horror games. Dead space 1&2 in the last gen took towards the right step but the action laden dead space 3 killed it again.

I'm not talking about fps type horror either.

I'm talking about silent hill style survival horror. With how powerful PS4 and xbox1 claim to be, there's no reason we shouldn't get a one of a kind survival horror game with the right amount of action mixed with an excellent story and great AI.

I agree but dead space 2 was garbage as horror. Wayyyyyyyyyy too much action. Its pretty easy to see where dead space 3 came from. 2 is closer to 3 than 1.

Evil Within lookin . Latest previews werent that positive either. RE7 is gonna be more horror again tho

Horror games has reached its pinnacle in Horror Games. It is all down hill now. The only way this genre gets a shot in the arm is with Virtual Reality with 3D Sound. Why you ask because VR put you in the game not you watching the game.
