I've belonged to some kind of message board for as long as I've had the net. I enjoy reading them and posting if it moves me to.

things the coli has that other places don't:

- anonymity. Sometimes you just don't want to discuss sex or relationships with relatives on Facebook or Twitter.
- black opinions. Important for me when Trayvon and other events were happening. I was sick of reading racist comments on news sites and ready to just hear anonymous people from around the Country who shared by views
- male opinions. They are funny and not as sensitive as female boards. And though I disagree with some sentiments and ways of thinking, I like the honesty.

I signed up because I lurked on SOHH and wanted to be able to post a comment here and there if I felt like it. I barely post as is and am definitely not simped here or adored so your reasoning does not apply to me (or likely to many of the other female posters).

Do you know any women in your everyday walk of life that would spend time posting on a an anonymous Hiphop message board full of immature males?

Especially with Facebook, twitter and instagram. There has to be commonality of the women thy sign up and post here

I say all that to say they know what they're in for and bask in it until it gets to real for them

There are only a handful of females that take this place too seriously. You can find them in most threads in TLR giving some variation of "You all hate women," or "You're running us all off." I've lost count how many males have been ran off of here since the sites inception two years ago. The other females simply post and keep moving. There's very little moderation in general so everyone is susceptible to being "ran off" if you allow embarrassingly personal information or pictures to slip out.

Certain females want to partake in this but wish to be handled with kiddy gloves when the shoe is on the other foot. On a related note, I haven't seen @iZzo since he was caught using another man's photo on Thanksgiving of last year.
