If the choice is between the two, the assumption is the tech already exists.
The basics are there anyway. Give us another 40 years and you'll have people with reinforced bones, nano bots making sure you're good internally and probably some sort of implants to reinforce vital organs from shock and damage.

Unless there’s tangible assets behind that net worth - that money is useless. It’s more beneficial to pretend you don’t exist and off you.

We need a safe place to grow and develop to back us up, like cacs got europe/america and rice cacs got asia. And for that very reason, an army and weapons are needed, in principle, to protect us and our assets in key locations, not to start a war.

I think I would go with that. I think that 1 trillion dollars would put a bounty on my back unless the option comes with an already developed network.
