Genesis had the better music/EA Sports games, but SNES is the GOAT simply off of Mario/Zelda/Metroid together. Don't even get a nikka started on Contra III, tho..:krs:

why nikkas keep bringin this up like all the MK's after than wasnt FAR superior on SNES?...lol..and I had and loved both systems...im glad I never got MK1 for SNES and had it for Sega..I remember one of my friends had it for SNES and I used to laugh at that nikka..lol..still remember the blood code till this day..

I remember looking @ the big box like :ohhh: "let me see whats up this game..." play it for a few hours :ohlawd:

Low key good RPGs on snes
Lufia and the Fortress of Doom
Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals

Word! Sounds just about how it was for me.

I walked into blockbuster looking for some game which I can't remember, and there was the huge Earthbound case on the shelf that had me lookin' like

So, I'm thinking this shyt had to be special with a case of that magnitude.

I got it home, popped it in, and after a few minutes of reading text which felt like forever (I was new to RPG's), I finally got into a battle. Now I was expecting it to be like The Legend of Zelda series that I had been a huge fan of since the NES, so I was shocked at how lame the turn based system was, on some :scusthov: type shyt.

I still had 3 more days left with this joint, so I figured I'd continue on for a bit to see if it may change to some Zelda type shyt later on before writing it off as a waste of my allowance.

I found myself becoming more and more interested with the story, as young Ness left home, and got into it with a local street gang named the Sharks. During this time, I found myself not minding the turned based battle system, and from them on, it was all :win:
