These are the purest of pit bull facts. You know someone KNOWS the breed and has studied it, when you hear this.
It’s the reason why I laugh when people try to demonize pitbulls so much whenever there’s an attack on a person. For a pit to attack a human being, it has to have been treated horribly or trained horribly(or both), PRIOR to getting to the point of roaming down the street attacking people.
Pits were bred solely for ANIMAL aggression, and it shows. But what it has also done, whether for better or for worse, has made them overly luvable and affectionate towards human beings. The pits that exhibit human aggression were made that way by their owners. And that, is not the dog’s fault.

Dogs are best for alerting you of an intruders presence. Wanting them to fight intruders is counterintuitive because the other 99% of the time where your home isnt being invaded owners are trying to curb the dog's aggression and avoid lawsuits
