idk about that. i get what you're saying, but i know a white dude who opened a mexican restarurant and its crazy good. he spent a lot of time all over mexico in his 20s and came back to open a place.
the ratio of good to bad white cooks is like 1/50 . most know how to fukk up anything, but the ones who are good, are really good, and take the process and putting good energy into the food super serious. its rare but it exists.
region location has a lot to do with it. couldnt imagine the types of shyt white people eat in the mid west
