Bosh was in his prime in tor missing the playoffs. Melo was the first option on a nuggets team that took the Lakers to 7 the year they won it all iirc. Can't compare the two. imo
Holy shyt you replied to a post i made in 2013:wtf: and Melo never took Kobe to 7 games. Lakers won in 6 that year. 3 years later, Melo looks worse:flabbynsick:

on some real shyt, it's actually true. At least Iverson was remembered for his MVP and beating the Lakers in game 1. T-Mac was remembered for being an amazing scorer who got robbed from a fantastic career because of injuries. WTF is Melo remembered for? He's not a great efficient scorer. He hasn't had a memorable game. He doesn't do anything really well. He's gonna be a jeopardy question in 10 years.

A lot of wins when carried by a System Coach

No MVPs

No Finals

Garbage performances on big stages, only gotten past the 1st round twice

Decent stats

The player he's tied with since draft day, Lebron has achieved way more

His best statistical season, Lebron won MVP and Durant went 50/40/90

Outside of that year, never led the league in anything besides eating donuts

Owned by Lebron...real bad...never won shyt and never will

If he retires tomorrow he's a "retire his jersey" guy but he is well below even Chris Webber in the past two generations

Thank You Edward
I hear you, breh. But i'm just dont like the way the thread title comes across. THe man's family will never HAVE to work. Can you say that about your career? I know i cant.

I'd say he had a good career. I always say championship arent everything. There are many broke champions out there. Sometimes you gotta be in the right situation. Melo made it clear that championships arent a priority in his world when he resigned with the Knicks even tho the Bulls were interested. Even the Heat made a late call but as Pat Riley said "We were late to that party".

His basketball accomplishments are still decent IMO. College champion. Olympic Medalist. Very few people can say that.

And this is coming from a Melo "hater", BTW.
