maybe maybe not....its the basketball HOF...not the NBA HOF...i think cats forget that...

that syracuse team he led to the ncaa title might be enough to get him in....

i dont think points will be a problem tho :shaq:
Yea, i understand that, but he did only play one year in college.

Whats the record for shots in a double team? He can break that after Bean retires.

I disagree, especially about T-Mac being a better playmaker and defensive player. 04-05 playoffs, T-mac took 24 fga per game, Pierce took 13. They played in two completely different systems to just look at stats. T-Mac was another dude who took a billion shots and always had the ball in his hands, whereas Pierce has always been a team player and within the offense guy. Again, nobody was watching Paul Pierce before 08 tho.

I find it hilarious that Pierce only has one season where he averaged over 20 fga, yet he still has more 2k point seasons than T-Mac. :heh:
Nah, I was a Pierce fan. I even liked watching him play more than I did T-Mac. Kobe was a better playmaker than Pierce and Tracy was slightly better at it than Kobe was. JVG had Tracy playing defense that year and Pierce wasn't even playing it in Boston.

Melo's got a good shot at being top 10 all time in points scored by the time he retires. no way he misses the hall of fame without a tmac level fall off. He's never really been on a team that many people expected to contend though, aside from maybe the Knicks teams before Amare got hurt.

Neither one of them have any defensive player awards, so saying one played better defense than the other means nothing. Pierce started on one of the best defensive teams of all-time tho.

And saying T-Mac is a better playmaker than Kobe really means nothing to me. Again, you have guys who always have the ball in their hands vs a within the offense guy.
