Ellison was the first Muslim to be elected to Congress and the first African American representative from Minnesota.
Was just cool to see a Muslim up there.
Didn't think America had it in them.

Sherrod Brown. A left leaning Dem who has been able to hold his Senate seat in a Red state. Has credibility with blue collar labor union types, has spoken about the need for racial justice and income inequality. Seemed to be supportive of some type of programs to close the racial wealth gap.

He pretty much listed off the single most liberal, big money-free individuals in Congress. Name one thing you want and they are most likely fighting harder for it than anyone else elected to Washington at the moment.

They don’t take money from corporations and support policies that benefit the Black, the poor, the working class and middle class instead of big-monied donors.
Generally I fukk with the progressive wing of the party. Bernie, Rashida Talib, Keith Ellison, Bowman, AOC, etc. My own state's governor (Big Gretch) is aight and I'll be voting for her again.
I'm not as big on the moderates, but they're still easily preferable to Republicans.
