Wasnt dudlys /e&c/hardy heyday more ruthless aggression Era than attitude?
Hardy Boyz, Dudley Boyz, and E&C didn't become legit until around 2000/2001. No other tag team was touching NAO during the Attitude Era. Even Too Cool never reached their level.

Hardy boyz. Jeff carried that team when it came to the crowd reaction in the same sense that road dogg carried billy gunn.

I don't consider late 99 and especially 2000 on to be the attitude era. It was still TV 14 but didn't have that "what will they do next" aspect to it that they had from mid 98-mid 99, wrestlings real peak

The hardyz was over back when lita was still with essa rios.
She wasn't even a factor until the hardyz put her on.
They were over but NOWHERE NEAR what Lita became in 2000. Dudleys were more over than them.
Edge and Christian weren't never the most popular...they just got pushed hard.

Jeff Hardy was much more popular in his 2006 return. He was never that over in his life before that. You don't remember things correctly at all. He was nowhere near Lita's level with the fans...she was getting Raw main events against Stephanie for the Women's title with WWF Champion the Rock as ref. Her and Rock used to team up in main events against Cripple H and Trish. Lita was the one who Austin and Cripple H beat with the chair to get heat..not Jeff Hardy. Jeff was just a little sissy stunt guy who girls popped for when he took his shirt off...Lita was ultra over by 2000.
