Yup. I’ve seen this quite a bit. When you work with white people, they tell you all their business. A lot of them are not happy, but don’t want to leave the marriage. And from what I’ve heard, the children whose parents stuck it out until they were 18 have bad relationships themselves, because everything they thought was a real marriage was fake. This is why I don’t advocate settling, but with reasonable expectations and standards based on your individual situation.

I don't see them relating or equating celebrity relationships to "normal" relationships nearly as much.
That MAY be ignorance on my part though. They might do it all the time in spaces I never frequent. But I have a very hard time believing they do it as much.
