Everything fits a certain demographic...nd maybe hood movies aren't your your demographic...but for millions of others...it's theirs. Same way some cacs can watch Seinfeld or Friends...and others preferred raunchier Married W/ Children or Roseanne. Every hood angle or story hasn't been told...the same way every black- bourgeois angle hasn't been portrayed...

Why don't they make it in Hollywood then? There always need for writers. Funny gets recognized. A lot of them get shots and end up right back on YouTube. Spoken reasons, dashawn raw, king batch, Melvin gregg, allicat, jay Versace, and so on. The only one that really is doing anything other than YouTube videos is dc young fly. Other than dc name any black viner that's working anything other than YouTube or twitch.

Not saying vine didn't help them. Vine shortened people's attention span and made people realize making a 30 minut show is harder than making weird faces and voices for 8 seconds.

Yea there might be a few shows and movies that we like here and there but nothing that is really for us like bacc when I was a real young boy

Alot of yall finna come in here and name shows but the shows you name cater more towards new blacks. It's no shows for us that grew up in deep rooted African American culture. Not this new African American culture where nikkas tryna be everything else but blacc
