Side note, that's why I've always been happy about Japan's stricter immigration policy. You can't just let everybody in and then expect your country to remain the same. New people entering are not going to assimilate as easy as you would hope them to do so. If you want to visit a country because of certain qualities that said country possesses, and then a couple of decades later if you keep letting everybody in, that country will no longer possess those qualities that you once liked about it.
As to the topic at hand, many of these afghanis were risking their lives to help the Americans, so I do think that they should be given this opportunity.
I'm not going to blindly shy away from the fact that African Americans are still the most oppressed class in the United States of America. (MESSAGE!) If it were up to me, I'd say they should give y'all all of San Francisco. Just let y'all have that. Nice weather, already fancy expensive buildings just waiting to be inhabited. Y'all can have San Francisco.
