Yep. It was an Industrial Engineering job at this big medical supplier company. Got to the final interview, and met the manager and plant manager; didn’t like what they were talking about, especially when it came to talking about those on the production line. The warehouse was huge, and they told me all of what I’d be doing and about the last IE’s that were there and left. I was turned off. I finished the interview, got a job offer, but turned them down. Felt it wasn’t a good fit

Yeah, the pay was good. The supervisor was a black chick and I was like :ehh: cool.

WRONG! She was rude during the interview - constantly interrupting while I was answering her questions and repeatedly asking if I can do the job.
:gucci: bytch a 10 year old could do this job. From the tone of my voice, she was must have thought "this is toxic masculinity right here":hubie:

I got the feeling they were looking for a black person but a docile one. We both knew at the end of the interview that this wasn't going to work:mjlol:

When I interviewed at Square -Atlanta

Was excited to get into the company.
Recruiter kept bringing up inclusivity, ignored it.
Get interviewed by two guys, it is obvious two gay men. They keep bringing up again inclusivity.
After the interview I felt they wanted me to show some signs of being LGBT. I kept ignoring the lgbt and fake minority support in the interview as I felt it wasn't relevant.

Long story short, didn't get the job. Personally felt if I would of talked with a lisp or broke my wrist a little I would of got the job.

On the customer facing side of square atlanta I think they are your typical reddit liberal , lgbt, and septum ring black woman from the photos I've seen

yea couple times
Most recently I turned down a role where I would be involved with rewriting a system that the team had never seen before.
Like the offshore contractor team was going hand over an entire codebase no one in the company knew anything about and we were going have to scramble and learn the system and rewrite it all in a new language while building out all the cloud infrastructure. All that and I'm the sure the salary was <$150k given the company :hhh:
When you ask questions in the interview and the hiring manager start laughing to himself cause he know how fukked up it is :russ:

Many years ago I went for some office admin job. The interviewer seemed ok and offered me the job on the spot. He then introduced me to the staff and said "this is DaRealness, he will start working with us on Monday."

These cacs didn't smile or even bother to greet me, they just kept typing away and I remember a couple of them quickly glancing up at me then back down like that woman in the motel in Scarface. You could literally feel the :mjpls: energy. fukk that.

Called dude the next day and said thanks but no thanks.:camby:

They said it was remote, then halfway through said eventually I’d have to move to New Jersey after Covid. I just checked out right then and finished the interview then withdrew my application.

I know there's thousands of threads on knowing if you got the job from the interview

But has there been a time you were on an interview and been like..... Nah this job on some f*ck shyt :camby:

I remember I was on a Job interview, Zoom interview. First 75% of the interview, shyt going well, I was thinking "Damn, this job gonna be lit :banderas:"

Then towards the end he kept asking "We just really want a team player, we really really want a team player"
"So... do you have any more questions?"

5 questions I asked later....

He asked again "Do you have any more questions???"

I said "Nah, not at this time :dahell:"

Then he said "Here's my personal cell. Call me in the morning, to let me know if you have any more questions so you're sure you want the job"

I never called him back :camby:

Sounded like a domineering micro-managing weirdo :camby:

Did he call you back?

During the interview phase, they may use some "objective" style questioning to ensure equality. I forgot what it is called.

Failing to demonstrate how you're a team player, failing to ask questions may result in an instant fail.

If he liked you, handing out his number was his of giving you a chance to correct tanking the interview.

It wasn't even about tanking the interview. I'm not a mind reader, but I answered every question he asked, build up rapport, anecdotes, both laughing and joking. Did a good job (I think) of explaining my experience, which was commensurate with the position. Then the last leg him being incessant about being a team player and to "follow the training the right way to see if you want it". Then on top of that asking over and over if I have any more questions

If he wanted me to beg for the job, I ain't the one :manny:

If the pay was a lowball I wouldn’t even be cordial I would just walk out of the interview.
If they offer you the job on the spot (any interview/job) you know it’s about to be a full course plate of bullshyt
