I was very vocal in the original thread about AA men and complacency (when it comes to entrepreneurship, protecting our communities from drug dealers, pulpit pimps, and foreigner store owners, passing things down to our sons, etc). I agreed with the OP 100%.

But decided to make this spinoff thread to see what we feel about AA women as well.

What do you think? Have AA women gotten too complacent as well (when it comes to their role)?

This isn't a thread to shyt on them btw, i don't make those, never have. This is just a 2 part to the original thread about black men

The way too many African American mother's coddle their sons is detrimental. These boys, oftentimes lacking a father, grow up to be irresponsible; never seeing the error of their ways.

I think that a lot of the problems black men deal with when it comes to black women would decrease if black men were more prosperous economically. A lot of the stress on both sides comes from having to not having an economic base, having to depend on white ppl for jobs, etc. I think if black men were really on some boss shyt, had an economic base etc black men would get more respect from black women and children. Not all but i think as a whole it would be better. Right now we're in a place where black men want that but aren't sure how to get it, and black women are becoming more and more impatient. As for kids, young black boys and girls have a general lack respect for older black men because they can't go to them for employment, loans, help in general, they have to go to the oppressor for that. But i do think that when black men in general start really bossing up, a lot of the stuff that we deal with when it comes to black women would be better because they wouldn't be as stressed and not feel like they have to carry as much of a load as they do now.

I bet you'll stiill have simps in this thread going "stop attacking black women!!! :fire::damn:" when it's literally the same question from the original thread but just the genders changed.

:mjlol:Yeah i think as long as a black man dates and is planning to marry a black woman he should be able to comment with his opinion.. As long as it's not stupid stuff about hairstyles and other bullshyt. Those fakkits who try to put down black women's appearance don't need to say shyt.
