Like someone said, it's a comedy bit where the guy was already on screen so everyone know him.

They do a segment showing a hallway in the Toyota Center and asking people who the MVP is, and it's mostly people in Rockets memorabilia saying James Harden or Jeremy Lin (). Then they show people in OKC jerseys sayin Durant, Heat jerseys saying Bron, etc. and the mascot pies/cakes them in the face. When they showed brolic dude saying Kobe, he towered over the mascot so it ran away. Fast forward --> hits em up live.
