I’ve never had a problem with Spirit. They’re only good for short flights though. I wouldn’t fly them if it’s longer than 2 hours. I have never had delays, lost luggage, anything.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with spirit. Folks that don't travel much are the main ones always trying to clown it. But as a frequent traveler I agree with you. They are pretty reliable and dont have many delays or lost luggage or issues like that. I always see certain other popular airlines canceling or overbooking flights though. The big front seats are pretty comfortable and even the upcharge isnt too bad. For me I can do 4 hour flights or less on Spirit with the big front seats.

I fly from Chicago to the east coast for under $200 round trip all the time.

I can fly from LaGuardia to Chicago on one of the majors for RT for 170-200 most of the time.

I don’t find spirit to be competitive in markets with lots of options most of the the time. You may save $50 RT then you have to pay for a carry on each way which you don’t have to do with economy fares on other airlines.

And the other airlines have basic economy which is their version of spirit. And spirit business model offer more connections and less direct options plus the experience is poor from the seats to the clientele to the options if your flight is cancelled.

get in your seat, put your headphones on, take a nap... and you at your destination
East Coast to Florida, you there in 2 hours
pack a water bottle so you don't have to pay for drinks/snack onboard, but honestly the snacks at the airport stores are more expensive than onboard

Like someone said, I wouldn't recommend for more than maybe 3 hour flight

I’ve been on hundreds of flights in general and on Spirit, Alegiant, and Frontier many, many times. Nothing is wrong with those airlines. You’re just trying to get from point A to point B so what’s the big deal if you have slightly less space on the plane?

Word? So you cool with them canceling your flight unexpectedly and not giving you a reason even those it’s the middle of the summer? You cool with the level of shyt heads and thots sitting next too you? Or how about getting in from a flight from Miami at 9pm and the aircraft(Spirit) is forced to sit out on the Tarmac for 3 hours because as a airline your bumming gate assignments off the major carriers because you don’t have a hub to call your own and Delta telling you to fukk off and refusing your gate so you can let the passengers off and now the skally wags and thots wildin the fukk out on the plane and now airport ops and the police have to get involved and force delta to let spirit airlines use their gate and delta still refusing because they know spirit ain’t got no money to pay them for their gate usage and haven’t gotten any money from spirit in months
