i pre-ordered and just had a chance to play yesterday...fun game. need to grab a pro controller because the kids were giving me the because i was playing more than they were.

Yeah, Ranked Battle is completely broken unless they fix the ranking system. With no voice communication you're pretty left to your own devices hoping that your team knows what they're doing and 75% of the time they don't got a clue, so you have way too little influence on the outcome of a battle. Which makes it completely unbearable if you keep dropping back in rank and get no exp. whatsoever just because your team happens to suck. The fact you gain more exp. and money when you win in comparison to Regular Battle doesn't make up for it one bit because in Regular Battle you are always rewarded for your individual effort.

Finished the single player, I was not expecting the final boss to be such a workout for this type of game.

On to the multiplayer.

Just beat the 4th boss in the SP. Wow, that was a great boss fight. Now onto the final world... This SP was pretty decent for what I assumed would be a tacked on mode.
