however you split it, i think it goes best when you both are "working" at chores simultaneously

the way he's doing it- he's basically stealing part of her weekend
maybe she'd want him available for other fun activities??
maybe she feels funny/lazy watching him do chores while she kicks back??
those type of silent resentments can fester

she knows he doesn't like washing dishes at all and i think its something about she doesn't like cleaning the bathroom or some shyt I'm guessing thats why they came up with that solution but now she doing things everyday and he just cleans on weekends and do all the other chores on the weekend mostly...she don't think its fair. so when you look at it it just seems she just don't think its fair she's doing something everyday when he just really do things on the weekend sounds petty to me but whatever. i don't think its time to revise just cause you don't like your job cause i can't go to work on some yo i think we need to revise my role here cause i don't like what i agreed to.

I cook like 3 times a week. then again, I work from home and I have the time to do those things. especially when she has to run my kids around after school to activities like cheerleading and piano lessons and what not. she will usually cook on the weekend.

as for laundry, I do my own cuz I have my own hamper downstairs and my closets are downstairs. she does everyone else's laundry cuz their hampers are upstairs with their closets. also when it comes to cleaning, we kinda split it up. I do lawn mowing and outside shyt besides gardening.

I have my 11 year old do vacuuming and mopping the kitchen and dusting. I will clean the bathrooms, and the wife will clean the room.

I also do the grocery shopping, cuz like I said earlier, I simply have more time to do these things cuz I'm at home 7 days a week.

i hear you but when I'm not into cooking or washing dishes and we've agreed that i wouldn't have to why would i. now in certain cases yes you might have to cook or wash a dish but as long as its understood….dont make it a habit

You get paid a salary at work so you can't really compare the two...

She is doing something every single day (even if it's just one hour) to someone doing something one day for one hour... It's not equitable...

It's ok to change your mind... They should tweak their plan to make it work for both of them... that's all I'm saying...

Not a lot of cooking in my household, but when it does happened its majority by me. She's not the kitchen type and it shows in her cookin. I come from a family with great cooks so in not going compromise my appetite. Plus we just eat different anyway. She prefers to eat out a lot more than me. Sometimes we'll stop somewhere and I'll let her order somethin for he and the kid and I go home to eat, especially if it's fast good. Now the kid even stopped ordering out and it's just her and she blames me for whatever reason. Her and family just aren't good cooks. I knew somethin was up when in thanksgiving it's done by majority of 1 person. And it's horrible when it her family year. Even she don't take no plates home or make big plate. This year we had thanksgiving at her ma house and I made one plate and it was a small paper plate and when we got home later that night i ate papa johns pizza. My first time ever eating out on thanksgiving.


As for chores, we try to split but our cleaning philosophies is tense. I'm more of a clean up as u mess and she's more of a let accumulate and do one big clean. So we butt heads there. And then she needs every different cleaning product on the shelf, whereas al I need is bleach, pinesol, or Clorox wipes.

ok check this...one of my nikkaz and his wife has an agreement where as long as his wife cooks and clean the kitchen every night he'll clean the rest of the house. Now thing is their having problems cause now the female feels some type of way cause she notice that she working and coming home and cooking and cleaning kitchen everyday but he only really cleans on the weekends cause during the week as he says the house doesn't need that much cleaning.i told the nikka if she agreed she can't get mad now and no renegotiating and on some real shyt i don't see whats wrong with that agreement.whats y'all thoughts and would any of y'all agree to that type of an agreement?
