Smarks are cheering for Brock and Braun so it's the writers faults for how they've written the Roman character as much as the smarks.
The whole Roman can't wrestle, and his character arguments are dead. He's not a heel but you wouldn't know it from how he's been acting the last month. He's been a smug a$$hole on the mic.

They are using Roman perfectly right now... he is the lightning rod for the heat that the company itself was getting before.
Its so clear that Cokeboy is playing with the idea the fans have of what Reigns represents to the company. A lot of smark neckbeards have really worked themselves into a shoot when it comes to the topic of Roman.
