The D (where it's so cold)
My favorite variation/spin of this trope is when a player is cut/waived and a coach will still try to use that intangible quotes in a positive way even while trying to say they suck. Like when Micheal Sam was cut from the Rams and Cowboys practice squad, Fisher was saying stuff like....
"pro talent but it was a numbers game":dead:
"some team is getting a good football player":dead:

The Cowboys were saying stuff like...
"He was developing faster than any player on the practice squad and was on the edge but not quite there":dead:

Another example is Matt Millen. As horrible as he is from an analytical standpoint, he's entertaining as fukk to listen to. He's says the most cliched, corny shyt, but he's so oblivious to it all that it makes it funny. He hammers off at least a dozen of the things posted in the thread every game.
Some off shoot NFL scout on twitter names Matt Miller JUST POSTED THIS about a white receiver
