It's happened every gen. Do you really think 69.99 for a game isn't something they would consider.
The whole root of the DRM though was the price of games and devs not feeling they go their fair share.
And the gaming industry is pretty damn foolish.

I'm sure the 70 dollar price point was considered. But it's clearly too late to be implemented, 60 dollars were confirmed & we'll see these games on shelves & just a few months.
The gaming community would go in flames, just like they did for the Xbox ones DRM. They don't want that work
