no just no, to making laptops obselete
for people like me - who just browse, listen to music, fukk with a few apps, and take pics...sure. i barely touch my laptop these days. only reason i open it is to download a movie or album nowadays...and i've become too lazy to do that, really.

ALL music, old and new? how about that not being able to listen if you don't have wifi or are underground/on a plane though?

i'm honestly not 100% educated on spotify. i still listen to free pandora most times because i can create radio stations while kinda filtering it down to the style of music i like for that particular station. can spotify do that? i know they provide playlists already, but that's not the same.
Yeah you can do that on Spotify and all the other streaming services. It's like Dropbox in that sense

If you pay $9.99 you can save all the offline music your phone can handle. No internet needed.

look up every single person in that conference and see

Hov was the only one on that stage with control of his music/masters. The rest are slaves to their label and can't make their own decisions. Pretty sure the only artists who have put exclusive stuff on Tidal are Roc Nation folks. I wonder why....

Tidal launched with two alleged advantages: better sound quality and exclusive content. The sound quality offer is true but you have to pay $20/month for it apparently. Exclusive content wise they've wowed us with:

-a video of Beyonce playing the piano
-a two day exclusive for Rihanna's new single
-a video for a two year old Jay Z song
:scust:

yea. you can create radio stations based on music you like, and create your own playlists from those stations. The playlists go with you to any computer or mobile device. Same with the radio station. you could be listening to any track and hit radio and it will play songs similar to that track you like.

worth 9.99 and I've paid it for a few years now. sound quality on extreme sounds as good as a CD in the whip.
