Spotify is gonna have to start charging eventually, right?

But how long can this go on?

Netflix is $8/month, right? Spotify will eventually do the same, right?

I did a quick Google search and nothing suggests that they will start charging soon, but I don't follow the industry as closely as some of y'all, so I was hoping you could give me a solid answer.

Well, here's what I do:

I purchase/download full albums by the artists I support. You won't catch me listening to an album like GKMC or The Black Album on Spotify. Kinda like movies. I have the DVDs of The Godfather trilogy, 40-Year-Old Virgin and that sh1t I love.
But where Netflix/Spotify come in handy is those things that I'm just curious about. Just earlier, I was listening to jazz for an hour or so. I go on kicks and start listening to early 80s soft rock and random stuff like that.

I don't know if I'm getting my point across, but hopefully you see what I'm saying

i also like the collecting aspect but the modern era has made it be too much, but i'll still continue to be about that life

That's cool. Spotify is great for being curious. But since I can't stand ads period, I just pay the $10. But the way you do it is fine because you already know who you're checking for.

I've been paying $10 monthly for almost a year because the only thing I have is an iPad so I can't download music and I use it to sync playlists on spotify. I wish they had more albums like KrAyzie bones thug mentality and also mixtape songs like LIl B..they only have like 5 Lil B songs on there..but they do have some old gems like ultra magnetic critical beatdown..but whatcha gonna do
