Yeah I been fukking with it for a minute now and it's great. Sometimes I worry about how much the artists are actually receiving though. If I decide to listen to The Manhattan greatest hits how much are they/their family really getting?

Lets be honest, them older dudes more than likely arent getting anything.
They probably arent getting anything if you go buy their physical albums either.

Alot of those old soul/black acts didnt make much money b/c they were in bad contracts.

The Rolling Stone, Beatles, etc., those people probably had/have better contractswhen it comes to royalties.

I rock with this and Songza and my Google Music. The only thing i dont like is that it plays the same songs in order a lot of times, but i just switch to another station.

Any recommendations? :mjpls:

Thats a damn shame. Those are the main dudes I'm finally getting the chance to listen to and it kinda hurts to know I'm not actually supporting them.

I actually got to listen to the album Very Special by Debra Laws for the first time when it seems like I knew the title song forever. It was pretty good to me:ehh:

Well alot of those old groups still tour today, so that's how they make their money.

Spotify isn't piracy and apparently it's industry approved, so don't feel bad for free listening. Consider it a :win:

And I get to catch up on songs I havent heard since I was a kid and albums I just missed along the way. :ahh:
