Nah I can't get on this "let kids be kids" train. The kids that end up infected may not become terribly ill but they can carry that shyt to someone else back in their home state that could possibly die from it. This isn't about just letting kids have fun, if they were going to quarantine themselves in Miami for 14 days then cool, but they aren't going to do that and as a result going to put plenty of other people at risk. Spring Break happens everywhere, it wasn't a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Even if they’re likely to survive Corona, I’m sure many have family members who have underlying health conditions, immune compromised and elderly.

It’s just unnecessary risk. The worst aspect of this pandemic is idiots carrying the virus everywhere and the panic buying. It’s just making everything worse.

From the virus's standpoint, there really isnt. And if your goal is to slow down the disease neither should be allowed.
i agree but its a truth of our society that there are people who have to expose themselves and put others at risk right now to make it day to day. your lights wont get cut out if you dont go on spring break to miami

Wow. Seems like you all are saying they should be forced to stay indoors. :sas1:

There is a massive difference between maintaining that people should be cautious and avoid large groupings with a potentially deadly virus pandemic clearly burdening the weak US healthcare system - and "forcing people to stay indoors."
