Before you guys start with the outrage over Sprint being terrible, remind yourselves that Sprint is CDMA and TMO is GSM, two totally different animals. They'll probably just operate as two separate entities under one umbrella
I quit my job at time warner they wouldn't answer enough questions when asked. Like what's the point of a CEO retiring after x amount of years to give the company away to some guy who sells the company in what like fukking 5 or 6 months ? Kiss my ass...I'm no fool I smell a setupif you cant beat your competition... buy them out!!!!
its fukking infuriating, first the comcast / time warner deal, now this when will the fcc stop being fukkboys and step in and say no more monopolies!!! are they really that crooked and corrupt?

I doubt they include CDMA in tmobiles side. CDMA will be phased out over time..but what the hell are you talking about regarding Sprint and overseas?? This deal has nothing to do with that....nor have i seen any info about Sprint trying its hand abroadOr just make wavy dual-band phones and plans. I hate mergers as well but this is still nothing in the US compared to the "how the fukk are they even this big telecom giant" that is AT&T. AND Verizon is still king when it comes to service.
This move was more about Sprint getting a foothold overseas. The already lost the American battle but with more and more users becoming mobile in southeast Asia, Africa and Europe this positions them better to get dat GSM money. Even beyond that, neither one of these companies would have survived much longer alone. Verizon and AT&T are THAT powerful. People forgot just how big of a coup it was for SBC/Bell South to acquire Singular and get iPhone exclusivity in the late 2000's

So what happens now to Unlimited data??

Sprint is the WORST!Some MAJOR bullshyt. I really aint feeling all these companies merging into mega conglomerates..plus Sprint customer service is pure ass and CDMA sucks

will this fix some of T-Mobile's spotty coverage? They are buying Tmobile US...not the whole Deutsche Telekom. Its called a "prediction"...a "hypothesis". It only makes sense that the smaller of the two CMDA companies would get a GSM company if they could.
Also all the number show the Sprint subscribers at about 55 million, T Mobile has a global number of about 250 Million world wide. How is this not adding up to you? That's simple mathematics. So even by your own admission if CMDA is to be phased out would it not be advantageous to buy out one of the biggest GSM provides in the world?![]()
