1) too soon to judge blatt, dude has yet to go a full season.
2) messina's pedigree is more advanced than blatt. messina is the european hoops godfather. he's back in the NBA because he's conqured the euroleague, nothing left to prove.
3) messina is going to be an asistant coach for a good while, spurs havent given him the keys to anything. yet. he's gonna learn from pop (and vice versa, says pop). if he ever takes over, he's gonna be pretty accustomed to the modern league by then.
