Wemby here to save the NBA, the super friend hoes really stained the league but it's finally over 
It’s interesting bc Thunder/Wolves WCFs flopped in ratings, yet this season it was the highest rated Thanksgiving game in years. Rockets/Thunder was also the highest rated opening season game since 2011.
Just them being champions seems to have an effect

Thunder was the #1 team for Thanksgiving and opening week as well, has nothing to do with wemby lol. The reality are that the thunder are nba champions now and everyone will watch to see them either win or lose.
They don't wanna embrace the facts mayne.......

NBC has done a great job at showing most of the teams in the league. Their broadcasts don't revolve around Lakers, Knicks and Warriors (or Steph, LeBron, KD, etc.).
They're promoting the entire league, not actively shytting on the product, putting together a professional presentation and we're already seeing how much it's helped.
Prime has also done a good job but NBC/Peacock is the primary broadcast partner for the NBA this season.
The TNT guys aren't on twice a week trashing everybody and ESPN's presence/influence has been greatly reduced.
They're promoting the entire league, not actively shytting on the product, putting together a professional presentation and we're already seeing how much it's helped.
