The game is over 8 million sold. Final Fantasy VII for example has sold 11 million. VIII sold 8.5 million X sold 8 million so it's going to be one of the highest selling games in the series.

What was the budget though. It's been in development for 10 years and during that time it got completely reworked from the initial Versus reveal.

I don't think FF15 was a bad game at all. I enjoyed it. Just really glad I played it BEFORE Persona 5 or Tales of Berseria, so I appreciated it more.

With that said I personally enjoyed the Final Fantasy 13 series more.

Bought a PS3 for Final Fantasy Versus 13. Final Fantasy 15 was such a letdown, all that time for that

Square Enix is too busy figuring out ways to milk their FF7 cash cow and finesse the masses.

All we want is a remastered version of the original on some Resident Evil 2 shyt. If they went with that, it would've dropped already.

Square sealed their fate when they forced Sakaguchi to resign cuz of that shytty movie. Everything since he left has been trash.

Tabata made that kingsglaive which while being decent should have not been in the budget for ffxv.

Those are spells summons and limit breaks that got thrown to the wind for a pointless film he didn't have the vision to adapt into a prologue for the game.
