Not a SJU fan, but pulling for them as they put on for NYC. Always was fascinated with the dropoff that happened. I used to work with a cat who was an alum and he told me one day he wanted to assassinate Mike Jarvis 
Big East is better when the teams in the metro cities are poppin, Rick should have STJ as a tourney team every year as long as he's there, Cooley is probably a year away at Georgetown but Nova needs to end the Kyle Neptune era.
They are a complete nightmare to play against. I don't think they can win the whole thing cause they can't shoot threes but man, a FF appearance ain't unrealisticThe Johnnies top 10 in the nation
Nova got used to being elite in the Jay Wright era. They don't wanna fall off to Seton Hall status. It's not looking good for Neptune

They are not back, and they’re really not that good to be honest. Early round exit in the tournament
Considering where the program has been the past 20 plus years an early round exit would be an amazing turn around
I graduated in Fall 2020, couldn't be happier for these boys
Last game I went to was when we upset Creighton at Carneseca Hall in March 2020, I think they were ranked 9th or so and then a week after that we got the order to go home bcuz of COVID lol
That and when we beat Duke at MSG in 2018 when Shammorie Ponds turned into Kemba
Still mad at how we did Mike Anderson dirty but breh got paid in the end

Pitino showing all these bagmen/NIL merchants what real coaching is all about 
considering where they were it's back for them, but yea with their lack of outside shooting I can't see them really getting beyond a S16 at best. Plus they can get away with that play style in the Big East, out of conference I don't think the refs will be as kind to them.
