St Louis Cardinals Mocking "Black Lives Matters" Slogan

It's not the St. Louis Cardinals that did this. Somebody came up to the mascot had gave him/her the sign to hold while taking pictures as Fredbird does during games. They said Fredbird didn't know what the sign read before he/she held it to take the pic. Even if he didn't, they always have a couple of blonde cacs with Fredbird at all times when walking around the park so at least they saw the sign. It wasn't at a police function. The police union or whomever got the picture and posted it on their FB page. The Cardinals got wind and told them to take it down. Either way, it's very sloppy to say the St. Louis Cardinals were mocking the black lives matter slogan.

Fredbird is a fakkit.

Cardinals spokesman Ron Watermon says the photo was taken at Busch Stadium after a couple asked Fredbird for a photo. Watermon says Fredbird didn’t know what was on the sign and when the team learned it was on the association website, the team asked for the photo to come down.

“When the Cardinals became aware of the photograph on Tuesday, we asked our friends at the police association to take it down, and they graciously accommodated our request.”

Couldn't even fake the funk and mention being sensitive to the issues that have torn apart your community.
