Ali was a solo artist and at the same time was the manager of the group. He structured their first songs and put them on his first songs and changed them from features to Lunatic songs. He joined the group and basically became the leader and helped orchestrate Nelly going solo before the Lunatics dropped. According to him he wrote at least half of Nelly first album. They weren’t vibing like that for shows and they started to splinter. A lot of it is Ali fault because he never bothered to get his publishing credit and things went to a head when Nelly sold his catalog.
As far as the suit, Ali says that the Lunatics put the idea of the suit together without him, asked him to join, then when Nelly basically bribed them by say he was going to start taking them on tour again they left Ali out there with the suit on his own. Does seem funny after all these years where Nelly been dissing them saying he was tired of carrying them on his back basically. This really happened even Murph was saying this shyt n VLAD.

nikkas need to be more like Tony Yayo. Appreciate your homie being a superstar, take the 10-15k a show, travel the world, bang the German groupies, invest in real estate/food trucks/weed dispensaries and sit down somewhere.

Didn’t have to give them any bread just told them he would start putting them on his shows again. Nelly said it didn’t make sense to spend extra money to put Lunatics on a Nelly show. He was getting the same money without them. He did this to win the battle with Ali. He wasn’t fukkin with them boys at all.

You have to ask yourself why now after the news of the lawsuit was on its way out. He ain't shared a stage with them in years, even when he would come home and do events/appearances.
I use to see both Kyjuan and Murph doing small live music venues around the city for years while Nelly was on TV and doing tours.
I suspect when all of this dies down, you won't see them doing a show with him again.
