I really don't have a problem with them being called The Club.

They obviously couldn't call them the Bullet Club but if they called them something else, everyone still would have complained.
Not if it was something good like "Finn Balor", "Asuka", "American Alpha",

They got some creative mofos coming up with great names in nxt. This shyt is just lazy

Damn shame ROH has a working relationship with New Japan but WWE can't :mjlol:I almost forgot about "The Band"
WWE wouldn't let them control their booking like ROH does.

Vince would be trying to put Reigns over Okada and Tanahashi at the first chance :bryan:

So looks like at one time they were interested, NJPW probably set a price too high to make it worth WWE's while. NJPW would have had to drop the name/merch for one of their most popular factions, would be devastating for them, and they might have just outright refused any offers. And I doubt neither party was interested in WWE allowing NJPW to keep using it if sold, as storyline approval for that would be a mess.

Thank god WWE didn't get those trademarks. They would have butchered everything from the name to the logo to the entrance music (which IMO is one of the best entrance themes of all time).
