Honestly WWE should have made a deal with New Japan to allow themselves to use the Bullet Club name in the WWE... think of all of the shirts that WWE could be selling on WWEshop.com?

Plus think of all of the promo WWE would have gotten, every time Omega or Young Bucks do a Bullet Club promo they can shout out their brothers kicking ass overseas in the WWE... free promotion. Every time Adam Cole screams out "BULLET CLUB BAY BAY!" that's more promotion for the Bullet Club and WWE gets a part of that.

I'm sure they tried too but when you got something hot like New Japan has you don't give it to a company that's not gonna do anything for you in return. Same reason Hogan/Hall/Nash had to call themselves "The Band" in TNA.

So looks like at one time they were interested, NJPW probably set a price too high to make it worth WWE's while. NJPW would have had to drop the name/merch for one of their most popular factions, would be devastating for them, and they might have just outright refused any offers. And I doubt neither party was interested in WWE allowing NJPW to keep using it if sold, as storyline approval for that would be a mess.

Damn shame ROH has a working relationship with New Japan but WWE can't I almost forgot about "The Band"
