Talking to the ppl in GA I have on the ground, the feeling is that the country cacs will show up on election day and Kemp will barely win. Abrams isn't a good or great candidate and comes from the school of Barack Obama but she does have some good business initiatives which will help Blacks more than anything in the last 30-50 years in GA since AA.

IIRC the GOP wanted basically gut HOPE to the point of being crumbs and Abrams got them as house minority leader to compromise on how much they cut it down.
Much of her debt was obtained from helping family and college debt so not sure why folks would hold that against her

The current governor of Georgia has also had his financial troubles.
He was 2 million in debt when he was a gubernatorial candidate. I expect Abrams campaign can soften up the bite behind this criticism by bringing that up.
I expect the main attack used against her will be her desire to destroy the Stone Mountain Confederate monuments. Kemp's people will bring out all the dog whistles for that one.

Abrams can win, but she cant commit any unforced errors. Kemp, as a White man, can be a messy piece of shyt, point loaded weapons at teenagers, talk about rounding up immigrants in his pickup, but a Black female candidate has to be a saint by comparison.
