I gotta give props to so many plainclothes civilians doing CPR. That compulsory military service is a gift. Here in America, people would just be screaming and gawking.

You know some stupid motherfukker yelled out GODZILLA in that alley....
Breh, it's Korea not Japan :mjlol:

Might of saw the Red Light, Green Light Robot Girl from Squid Game though...:damn:

All this to trick or treat....:beli:
It’s not about trick or treating. These are adults. There are adult Halloween parties and South Korea tends to go overboard on that. Plus Covid restrictions have just lifted in South Korea hence the level of people out.

Does cpr actually work?
Yes, but not very effective. It depends on the circumstances, for cardiac arrest, you are most likely not being saved but if you do survive, CPR was most likely what saved you.

You want equipement, CPR is last measure, something anyone can learn to do effectively, effectively being the key word, it's intended to buy you time until you can get adequate care.

He is actually sort of right though, CPR isn't effective, at least not in the sense that most people think it is, it's not saving your life 9/10 times, but it will buy you time.

People need only to understand the purpose of CPR, then you will see why one shouldn't expect much from it.

And when people are considering the effectiveness, it's under the assumption that the person is trained in performing it properly, so imagine how bad it is when the average person does it. The average person isn't getting the proper leverage, doesn't understand how much force is actually needed, and they aren't administering oxygen properly.
