And while dude shouldnt have gotten physical, I personally have a wife and daughter. Any grown man attempting to harrass or confront either of those two women in my life with hostility would get more than a push. Him protecting his woman wasn't wrong, it's expected. The other man was simply a coward all around. It doesn't take any balls to confront women or hide behind a pistol.
i was talking with some folks at the barbershop the other day. they were making fun of one dude who was on a date with a girl he was recently seeing. a couple of guys ran up on them with a gun to rob them. he took off running and left the girl. the girl later broke up with him. the folks at the barbershop was cracking up on dude calling him all types of punk.
while what he did can be thought of as being a punk move, i wouldnt knock him for running. I felt it was smart.
first, he doesnt know the girl. they just started dating. wasnt like it was his baby moms, or sisters or anyone he should care about. but them dudes at the barbershop were laughing at him something serious. i see it like this, dude gets to continue to live and enjoy what life has to offer. did he have to run? no. probably not. but then again,
the dudes who would run up on you with a gun have already crossed a mental threshold of "i dont give a fucck" and will likely shoot you dead if you so much as give em a bad look or if they get jealous of you cuz of the girl your with.
i dont know how else the dude coulda handled this situation except, if ur going to fight someone in the future, wrestle them down, make sure they dont have a gun on them then put the beats on them. but. cant fault dude. just a sh1tty situation
