Not everyone. Just a few nuts and fiends. If they loved the game as much as I do the first page would be at least 60% NBA related everyday until the season starts.
Looking at the front page, there's at least as many NBA threads as there are NFL threads, and if you take out all of the race-related/non-actual game playing threads, the NBA is ruling The Coli like always.

losing Barnes and Bogut is huge on the defensive end. barnes was a very underrated defender

lowkey the mavs have one of the best perimeter defensive teams in the league. Wes matthews, Justin Anderson, and Barnes now. Bogut helping dirk in the paint

im gonna say the mavs finish 4th in the west :wow: don't be surprised. losing that fakkit parsons is addition by subtraction

Aren't you a woman

Warriors will not be the best team in the west. They are much worse now, than they were last year
That bench really helped them through the tough times of the season, now all of them are gone except Livingston I believe. I think they'll do well overall, but I also can't see them at the top.

Some interesting things in this thread..

Y'all really dont think the Bulls will make the playoffs?...............I got to say that them not making it provided everyone has a reasonably healthy season would be an indictment.....that squad should at least be able to get an 8th seed

The Spurs are an interesting case because they have a system which just spits out wins........they will easily hit 52-57 games....Their question as always is do they have a playoff gear.....other than the time when they met a Miami team who was on fumes from their 4th finals trip..... Their last 2 playoff runs have fallen apart.....

Now they have made changes....so we will see what the addition of Gasol can do....maybe a Gasol-Kawhi-LMA-Parker-Ginobili-Green core can get it done......but depth is at times overrated in the post season.....your starters and top end guys are for the most part who have to be the fire tipped head of the spear

The Clippers.....this is a team that has the tools to be good...heck even approaching great but they have serious mental hurdles.....just like OKC....they get tight when the games get close...A couple things they need.....they need to somehow get another good 2-way player.....Ideally at the small forward position..maybe a 15 point per game guy who can play some very good defense. WHAT THEY REALLY NEED TO DO is keep Jamal Crawford from soaking up and ruining possessions in close games and the playoffs....seen it too many times...

For the Cavs this year the biggest challenge will be to pace themselves, build good habits and not look ahead to the playoffs.....Take the season month by month..........dont get too high or too low over 1 game......Repeating in the NBA is tough

Golden State...........they will win a lot of games but I still think there will be teething problems....There are enough soft ass teams in the West for them to run through tho....With that said.....I think teams are going to try and defend GSW a LOT differently this year.....They are going to have to hide Steph a lot more.

Houston-Dantoni.......This offense has the potential to be EXPLOSIVE.....but that really isnt their problem is it.....they need to make a leap defensively....and this comes down to effort....People knock Harden sometimes fairly...sometimes not but he played the most minutes in the league last year I believe....just trying to drag that team to the playoffs....Ariza and those other guys need to step up big time

Grizzlies will be who they are...steady, defensive minded...average...no chance of contending
