STAR joins Everyday Struggle (Latest episode in OP)

Picking Star for the show was a strategic move. I think they picked him for 2 reasons.

1. Ak and nadeska wanted to show once and for all how out of touch the older generation is with today’s hip hop.

2. This was in kinda in a way an attempted slight to Joe Budden. Complex wasn’t able to control Joe so they made sure they picked someone who was just as wreckless but whom they felt they could control. Ak telling Star that he was coming for him before the first episode leads me to believe he was provoked. Only to be held in check. And don’t think complex didn’t know about those Nadeska comments.



I think Ak was sold a bag of false goods by complex as he’s quickly finding out that Star isn’t the old out of touch lame he was promised.

Star is a HOF compared to 2 rookies to this. And it shows.

Star is an og so wat he thinks is keeping up with wat is going on still falls very short of wat the people who watch everyday struggle want- a person who is on the internet all day. Star is not that. He probably doesn't keep up with instagram like that.

At the same time ak and nadeska have really exposed themselves as being suburban hiphop fans. Ak gets his info about wats hot probably from the coli and nadeska is a straight cornball hipster type.

There's a big disconnect that joe filled perfect because he's not as old, as a rapper it was literally his job to stay up on wat was happening in the game, and honestly joe kinda feminine and a chatty patty his damn self. It was a perfect fit for complex


Plus did nadeska get a promotion? She been sonning star like she work at target and just became manager.

It is ironic hearing posters complain about Everyday Struggle rehashing the same four or five topics when this site still gets stuck on the Nas vs. Jay battle from damn near 20 years ago.

I like the direction the show is going : My baby Nadeska and AK teaming up against the old man Star and making a fool out of themselves. I just need Star to start spitting that HATE.

They're doing terrible jobs at getting their flawed points across even with a two on one advantage. I had to turn todays episode off after like 15 minutes.

Ak trying to backtrack out of paying Star the $100 Erykah Badu comments bet with Nedeska trying to hate was downright. You can't assbet somebody, especially when the terms for the bet were agreed to 5 minutes before on the same show. Ak would'v gotten slapped and his pocket rannl thru doing that in the streets. That lets you know his word as a man means nothing and he can't be respected or trusted.
